A New Direction For My Blog...And, A Fifty-Five Word Story.

The short version of a long story. Other than some stories in my draft folder (400 plus) I'm going to try to only post 55-word stories. If I don't get some comments, good or bad, I think I'll just quit this blog.

Thanks to any who read these stories and leave comments.

I plan on posting a story every week or so.

He had Become Obsessed with his Trains

 Got married, only had one small set-up. Soon he bought train stuff weekly, spent his time in the basement with his trains.

His wife complained.

“Get a hobby,” he said.

Romantic part of their lives stopped.

“Let’s fool around tonight,” he said.
“No, thanks.”
“Why?”
“I got a hobby.”
“What?”
“Four boyfriends and three girlfriends.”

Here's one account of the story.

    I was in Curtis LeMay's Air Force (SAC) from 1956 to 1964. My first duty station was 

    B-47s and KC-97s. Later years B-52s and KC-135s. Flying status was great...paid an extra $55 dollars a month which was almost as much as my base pay. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to be on flying status from time-to-time. So yes, I flew on B-47s...but, never under a bridge (I don't think).
