Postcrossing is a group of more than 500,000 people from more than 200 countries who
exchange postcards. It's free, though I donate 10 Euros a year. It's handled by computers of course.
Each member has a profile. Folks usually list the types of cards they'd like to receive and most tell a little about themselves.
Here are some of the postcards I've received and here are some of the postcards I've sent.
If you are interested in having a pen pal for exchanging letters, you will be able to find someone through Postcrossing.
Here you'll find the basics of how Postcrossing works.
BTW, sending postcards overseas is $1.20.
If you have any questions (not answered in the links) or want to know where to buy cards, send me a note. george238c@juno.com
I've been active for the past year and it's been enjoyable. Have met some nice and interesting people from all over. And, have a couple of pen pals. Plus, I have about 200 cool postcards.
The Beginning....
